Looking for a new and fun way to make margaritas? Try this version that uses lime sherbet ice cream. It’s like drinking a margarita milkshake!
Did you know that margaritas are the most popular cocktail in the US?
Well, I didn’t until now, but I can see why! The citrusy drink is slightly tangy, a little sweet, and packs a punch of tequila.
When it comes to margaritas I’m not necessarily a purist, but I do almost always drink mine on the rocks. I firmly held that belief until recently when I made an incredible discovery: Lime Sherbet Margaritas.
Ingredients
- Lime Sherbet
- Lime Juice
- Tequila
- Triple Sec
- Ice
This simple twist on traditional margaritas uses lime sherbet for the base and tastes like a dream! They’re so easy to make too – just throw everything into your blender!
I could spend all day sitting next to a pool drinking these! I may just need to order some of those adorable little drink umbrellas for my next batch…
