Make s’mores for a crowd easy with this giant s’mores board! It’s anything but basic! Perfect for fall & summer backyard get-togethers.

A large wooden board with various marshmallows, cookies, chocolates, and toppings to make s'mores.

We just celebrated the last day of summer by making this delicious s’mores board to share with our friends!

When most people think of s’mores, they’re imagining the classic graham crackers, roasted marshmallow, and Hershey’s chocolate combo. Now I’m not throwing any shade on those, because they’re honestly delicious, but you guys know I like to be a little extra.

Every time Janette and I go camping we try to bring non-traditional s’more ingredients (remember the golden raspberry s’moreo?!?). So as you might imagine, something like this board of endless s’more options and combinations is something I thought I’d only ever see in my dreams!

The great part about this board is that you can easily customize it to suit you and your friends’ tastes. I put together the s’mores ingredients I personally wanted. If you use different ingredients and toppings, let us know what they were and how it turned out. Maybe we’ll add them to our next s’mores board…

Graham Crackers, Oreos, and Chocolate Chip Cookies on a s'mores board.

S’mores without Graham Crackers

I always include graham crackers on my s’mores board for people who want to keep it classic, but there are so many delicious ways to make your s’mores without them.

These are some of our favorites:

  • Oreos
  • Pizzelle
  • Chocolate Chip Cookies
  • Mini Waffles
  • Cinnamon Raisin Toast
  • Rice Krispies

Various chocolate bars and candies on a s'mores board.

Chocolate options

What kind of chocolate you use can really make or break your s’more. The chocolate I choose depends on which toppings I’m using. Below are the ones we like the most.

  • Milk Chocolate Hershey’s Bars
  • Cookies & Cream Bars
  • White Chocolate Bars
  • Reese’s Cups
  • Caramel Filled Ghirardelli
  • Raspberry Filled Ghirardelli
  • Nutella

S'mores board marshmallows and toppings like fresh fruit, caramel, and peanut butter.

Toppings

Now here’s the really fun part: s’mores toppings! It’s so hard not to get carried away here!

  • Caramel Sauce
  • Peanut Butter
  • Nutella
  • Fruit (bananas, berries, peaches etc)
  • Shredded Coconut
  • Candied Bacon

Being Australian, I have never experienced a s’more of any kind but the board looks amazing.

We made this for our post-Thanksgiving eve get together and it was so fun! We used a few different candies, like chopped snickers bars. Awesome idea!
