Sweet, tangy, and salty, this pickle lemonade will light up your taste buds and instantly become your new favorite summer drink.

This recipe isn’t just for the pickle lovers out there, it’s for the pickle freaks.
I’m talking about people like me who will gulp the pickle juice straight from the jar. People so pickle obsessed that their local sandwich shop saves all their 5 gallon buckets of pickle juice for….this one is for you!
Once you try it, I promise you’ll never go back to regular ol’ lemonade. It has all the all the sweet and sour taste of lemonade, but with the added tang and saltiness of dill pickles. I swear it’s more refreshing on a hot day than a Gatorade!
You can make it “on the rocks” and simply serve it over ice, or my favorite, turn it into a slushy in the Ninja Slushi machine! Something about the frozen pickle lemonade makes the flavors more intense and hit even better.
I’m sure you know from my pickle shots that I’m a fan of pairing pickles and alcohol, so I’m thinking next time I go to the beach I’m going to turn this lemonade into cocktail by mixing it with chili-infused vodka and pouring it into a tajin rimmed glass.
Ingredients
- Lemonade – You can use homemade lemonade or store-bought. I like to use Milo’s.
- Pickle Juice – Use pickle juice from empty jars or buy a gallon of it if you just can’t keep enough on hand.
- Garnish (optional) – Pickle chips, lemon wheels, lemon slices, or even a whole pickle spear and a sprig of dill make great garnishes.
Tips
- Adjust the amount of tang to your liking by increasing or decreasing the amount of pickle juice.
- Chill everything ahead of time. Cold ingredients = extra refreshing and your slushy will freeze faster!
Need a snack to pair it with? Try Nashville hot fried pickles or a no-cook spicy bowl.
