If you’re seeking a light and refreshing matcha drink, you absolutely have to try a coconut matcha cloud. It combines coconut water with a creamy matcha cold foam.

I don’t know about you, but I look forward to my little afternoon drink every day. It’s a consistent bright spot in my life.
Right now, my midday pick-me-up of choice is a coconut matcha cloud. It’s so simple, yet one of the most delightful matchas I’ve ever had.
The base is coconut water, then it’s topped with a matcha cold foam that you can make with either heavy cream or coconut milk.
You end up with a light, refreshing, and velvety smooth iced matcha that’s perfect for summer (though a matcha lemonade is a close second!).
Ingredients

- Matcha – Be sure to use a high-quality matcha. I like Encha.
- Cream – You can use coconut milk, heavy cream, or oat cream.
- Coconut water – Use your favorite brand of coconut water.
- Sweetener (optional) – I like a less sweet drink, so the coconut water adds plenty of sweetness for me. However, you may prefer to add 1/2 oz – 1 oz of vanilla syrup to the cold foam.

Tips
- Most people like to use a handheld frother to make their cold foam, but you can use a blender or shake in a mason jar with a lid (my preferred method).
- Try a fruit puree. Add more flavor to this drink by adding a fruit puree at the bottom. I like pineapple or mango for the full tropical experience.

Need a caffeinated afternoon drink that packs a bit more punch? Try a monster americano or a cherry coke espresso float.
