Enjoy all the seasonal fall flavors in this simple spritz cocktail. It’s perfect for Thanksgiving and other autumn get-togethers.
Seeking a classy, but simple cocktail to serve at your Thanksgiving or Friendsgiving gathering?
This fall spritz is it! It pairs apple cider with caramel vodka to encapsulated the flavors of the season.
It is, of course, topped with crisp prosecco and garnished with fresh apple, a cinnamon stick, and a star anise for the ultimate autumn presentation.
It’s bright & light, so I plan on serving it as a welcome cocktail with charcuterie. Then, I’ll have my popular Thanksgiving cocktail and apple old fashioned available during the meal.
Ingredients
- Prosecco – You can substitute club soda or champagne.
- Vodka – I love how caramel and vanilla flavored vodkas tastes in this drink, plain works too.
- Apple Cider – Be sure to use apple cider, which has a deep rich flavor, not apple juice.
- Lemon – A bit of fresh squeezed lemon juice really brightens up this cocktail. I don’t recommend leaving it out.
- Vanilla Syrup – Just a small amount of vanilla syrup brings all the flavors together! You can substitute plain simple syrup with a drop of vanilla extract.
Tips
- No cocktail shaker? No problem! You can build this drink in glass. Just give the ingredients a gentle stir with a bar spoon.
- Instead of store-bought, try making your own apple cider in the crockpot.
