We’re sharing all the recipes we’re dying to cook on the grill this summer.

Everything from grilled summer main dishes, side dishes, and our favorite: grilled summer dessert recipes!

There’s plenty of ideas for both meat lovers and vegetarians. Seasonal classics like burgers and s’mores, as well as plenty of twists on your favorites (like a chili lime corn on the cob) and an abundance of unique uses for fresh summer produce.

Grilled Main Dishes

Fully Loaded Burger Bowls

A cooked burger patty has been hollowed out in the middle and filled with melted cheese, chopped bacon, and sliced green onions then drizzled with ranch.

Cutting carbs? You can stuff all your favorite toppings (bacon, cheese, and even mushrooms) inside your burger patty. Bowls > buns!

Grilled Dijon Rosemary Pork Chops

These might be the most flavorful pork chops I’ve ever had. Throwing them on the grill is always a nice change from the typical chicken and beef dishes. 

Cheesy Grilled Buffalo Chicken

Grilled chicken – but make it fun by stuffing it with cheese and coating in a tangy, spicy buffalo sauce. Serve it with a side of ranch and raw vegetables for the full experience.

Grilled Mahi Mahi with Pineapple Salsa and Lemon Butter

Caprese Filet Mignon

Juicy filet mignon is grilled to perfection then topped with bright tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, shredded basil, and a balsamic reduction. It’s the perfect way to lighten up steak for summer!

Grilled Portobello Mushroom Tacos

If you’re trying to cut down on your grocery bill, try these grilled portobello tacos instead of using beef! They’re incredibly satisfying and the fresh guacamole is a great use of summer produce.

Grilled Hawaiian Teriyaki Skewers

Pork tenderloin is a budget-friendly cut that I love to find new ways to use. This unique slider recipe slices it and puts it on Hawaiian rolls with a memorable pineapple coleslaw.

Grilled BBQ Chicken Pizza

A thin crust pizza is loaded with cheese and bbq sauce and toppings like sliced peppers, red onion, cherry tomatoes, corn kernels, and chicken.

When it’s too hot to turn on the oven for pizza, it’s time to fire up the grill! Top it with bbq sauce, chicken, bacon, onion, and seasonal vegetables like tomato, peppers, and corn.

Chipotle Grilled Chicken Salad with Honey Jalapeño Vinaigrette

Grilled Side Dishes

Grilled Potato Salad

Grilled Cornbread

Grilled Romaine Salad with Bacon & Bleu Cheese

Grilled Vegetables with Basil Vinaigrette

These vegetables tossed in basil vinaigrette are delicious hot off the grill, but even better when you use the cold leftovers to top salads the day or two after.

Grilled Hasselback Potatoes with Chive Butter

Slicing potatoes “hassleback style”, not only helps them cook faster on the grill, but it also allows the chive butter to cover more surface area and deliver more flavor in every bite.

Grilled Peach Salad

Grilling peaches makes the natural sugars caramelize and turns them into the perfect topping for a summer salad. Use a tangy cheese, like goat, to cut through and balance out the sweet fruit.

Sweet & Spicy Grilled Eggplant

If your summer garden has an abundance of eggplant, you have to use some of it to make this grilled version that is marinated in a sweet and spicy sauce. I love to pair it with a nice steak.

Grilled Desserts

S’mores “nachos” made in a cast iron skillet on the grill is probably my most favorite grilled desserts for a crowd! It takes a few minutes to assemble and only about 10 minutes to cook.

Strawberry Shortcake Grilled Doughnuts

Grilled glazed donuts that have been split in half and filled with sliced strawberries and a generous dollop of cream.

Homemade brioche doughnuts, grilled and topped with sweet strawberries and whipped ricotta cream has to be the ultimate summer dessert.

Grilled Pineapple with Brown Sugar Rum Glaze

A thick slice of grilled pineapple that's generously topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and drizzled with a brown sugar rum glaze.

When it’s hot, I simply cannot have too many desserts with tropical fruit. So glazing and grilling pineapple until it’s smoky and the sugars have caramelized, and finishing it off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream is pretty much my dream.

Grilled Banana Boats

Anyone who loathes cleanup will fawn over this practically dish-free dessert! Simply load up bananas in their peel with your favorite s’mores toppings and throw on the grill.
