Turn your favorite energy drink into a sweet and tangy ice cold slush that is perfect as an afternoon pick-me-up.

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I need more than just my usual morning cup of coffee to get through the day.
I’ve been spending too much money and too much time in the coffee shop line getting blended energy drinks, so I started making them at home in the Ninja Slushi machine. If you don’t have one, no sweat, I’m also including instructions for making it in your blender.
You can keep it simple with straight Red Bull, or add flavored syrups like blue raspberry, peach, or watermelon for your own custom slushy creation.

If you really want to level it up, add a splash of cream and turn it into a frozen Red Bull Italian soda. Or, add you choice of a flavored cold foam as a topper.
Ingredients

- Red Bull – Use the original or a flavored version, like Tropical.
- Flavored syrup (optional) – Add different Torani syrups to achieve the flavor of your preference. I love green apple and blue raspberry.
- Cream (optional) – Use a small amount of heavy cream or half and half if you prefer it creamy.
Tips
- Chill the cans beforehand. Cold Red Bull slushes faster and loses less carbonation.
- Add cream at the end. To avoid churning butter, add the cream near the end of the slushing process. Dispense within 30 minutes.
- Get creative. There’s endless possible flavor combinations with flavored syrups and cold foams.
- Make it boozy. Fancy a vodka Red Bull slush? You can add up to 3-4 oz vodka per 16 oz of energy drink.

Red Bull Slushie

Ingredients
- 48 ounces Red Bull
- 4 ounces Flavored Syrup, (optional)
Instructions
- Add the energy drinks and flavored syrup (if desired) to your Ninja Slushi machine and then press "slush".
- Machine will beep when ready. Place a cup on the drip mat and pull the lever to dispense.
Notes
- If adding vodka, you need to keep the total ABV under 16% or the machine can not slush. On my 88 ounce Ninja Slushi, I add 1.5 cups of vodka and 48 ounces of Red Bull.
- If adding cream, I recommend adding only a few ounces right at the end of slushing. Be sure to dispense fully within 30 minutes, or you will start churning butter.
- Scale this recipe down as needed. The Slushi machine needs at least 16 oz of liquid to slush.
- Want to make it in a blender instead? Add 16 oz Red Bull and one cup of ice to a high-powered blender. Blend at a high-speed until desired consistency is achieved.
