Sweet, tangy, and filled with booze – this green apple slushie will be your new favorite frozen cocktail for happy hour at home!

Two pint glasses filled neon green colored slushies are topped with mini bottles of crown apple and black straws.

If you follow me on TikTok, you know that Crown Apple is a fan-favorite with my audience. I’ve had so much fun trying out everyone’s mix suggestions!

While there are a seemingly endless amount of Crown Apple drinks, this green apple slushie is my favorite. The lemonade and sour apple pucker pack a tangy punch that the Crown and soda balances out perfectly.

It will hit the spot almost any time, but it’s particularly refreshing on a hot summer’s day by the pool or after yard work.

A ninja slushi machine has a green apple slushie being dispensed into a pint glass. There is a bottle of Crown Royal Apple and a bottle of Sour Apple Pucker on either side.

I make it in the Ninja slushi, which is a dream appliance that makes frozen drinks a breeze. We’ve been using ours every weekend since we got it!

If you prefer sweet things over tangy, I highly recommend trying my Crown Peach slush that’s also made in the Ninja Slushi. It’s so good!

Use any leftover alcohol to make Crown Apple jello shots – they’re super fun and always a crowd pleaser at parties.

Ingredients

A bottle of sour apple pucker, Jones green apple soda, Crown Royal apple, and a gallon of lemonade.
  • Lemonade – Use your favorite lemonade – homemade or store-bought.
  • Green Apple Soda – Any brand will work. I like Jones Soda.
  • Sour Apple Pucker – You can use any brand of sour apple schnapps.
  • Crown Royal – I recommend Crown Apple, but you can use regular Crown Royal or substitute another apple whiskey.

Tips

  • If you make it too strong, the mixture won’t be able to slush. So if you crave a higher ABV drink, add a “floater” shot to your cup.
  • Chill all of the ingredients first to make your slushie freeze faster in the machine.
  • Slushies will stay frozen longer if you use an insulated cup, like a Stanley or Yeti. You can also place pint glasses in the freezer ahead of time to chill them.
A pint glass filled with a bright green slushie is topped with a mini bottle of Crown Royal apple whiskey. A ninja slushi machine is out of focus in the background with more of the green apple slushi in it.
