If you love a Shirley Temple, try this caffeinated version made with Red Bull. It has all the cherry and lime flavors you love from the classic drink.

Whose day doesn’t get better when they have a Shirley Temple? I know mine always does!
What could possibly be better than the original? Perhaps taking the essence of it and putting a modern twist on it with a Red Bull infusion?
Swapping the Sprite base of the original Shirley Temple to a lime Red Bull gives this drink a jolt of energy, as well as making it brighter and more tangy. Sometimes, when I’m feeling extra-indulgent, I’ll even top it with cherry cold foam (vanilla is great too!). It’s like a Red Bull Italian Soda, but even better!
Ingredients

- Red Bull – You can use any flavor of Red Bull. The Sudachi lime is my favorite.
- Syrup – A classic Shirley Temple uses grenadine, but I like to use syrup from a jar of maraschino cherries. If you make these often you can buy a bottle of the syrup itself.
- Maraschino cherries – Of course you’ll need a cherry (or three) to garnish your drink.

Tips
- Slush it up. Try making a Shirley Temple Red Bull slushie in the Ninja Slushie machine. I use (6) 8.4 oz cans of Red Bull and 6 ounces of cherry syrup.
- Freshly squeezed. If I’m using the original Red Bull, I’ll add the juice from half a lime. It’s delicious!
