This “dirty” version of Alani Nu’s Witch’s Brew takes your favorite caramel apple energy drink and levels it up with a drizzle of caramel sauce and a creamy, green apple cold foam topper.

If you’re into the dirty soda trend, I’ve got your new fall drink obsession: dirty Alani witches brew. It’s like a caffeinated caramel apple in a cup.
Be warned: it will cast a spell on your tastebuds! It’s refreshing, energizing, and perfect for a pick-me-up while you’re carving pumpkins, baking spooky cookies, or scrolling Pinterest for costume ideas.
The best part? You can make it cheaper and faster at home vs going through the Dutch Bros drive-thru – no special tools or obscure ingredients required.
Ingredients

- Alani – You’ll need a chilled can of Witch’s Brew.
- Green apple syrup – Use your favorite brand. I like Torani.
- Caramel – Use your preferred brand of caramel sauce. Mine is Ghirardelli.
- Heavy cream – I use heavy cream to make my cold foam because I like it thick. You can use 3 tablespoons of heavy cream and 2 tablespoons of 2% milk if you like yours thinner and lighter.
Tips
- Chill the can. I highly recommend chilling your can of Alani beforehand. The colder the drink, the slower the carbonation loss.
- Milk matters. Dairy milk makes the best cold foam, with straight heavy cream making the thickest. Non-dairy milks, especially almond, do not work well at all.
- Make it a slushy. You can add the Witch’s Brew to a Ninja Slushie or into a blender (with a cup of ice) to make a slushie.

If you like this drink, I recommend trying other flavored sodas with cold foams like my red velvet Sprite or a Red Bull Italian soda.
