Want to start your day with a drink that will launch you into the stratosphere? The Monster Americano is for you! Perfect for powering through deadlines, workouts, and Monday mornings.

I saw a cafe in Korea selling a Monster coffee drink and was immediately intrigued.
You know I have an affinity for energy drinks from my love of Red Bull infusions, and that I like combining different caffeine sources, like in a matcha espresso fusion.
Naturally, it seemed like the Monster Americano was made for me. I had the ingredients on hand, gave it a try, and was pleasantly surprised!
It’s not something I’d drink every day, but I’m always up for a new coffee drink and it has a unique, refreshing flavor that is fun to try.
Ingredients

- Monster Energy Drink – This drink was originally made with white Monster, but you can sub another variety.
- Espresso – I use a double shot of freshly brewed espresso, but you could substitute cold brew or strongly brewed coffee.
- Garnish (optional) – Keep it classy by garnishing with a lemon or lime wheel.
Tips
- Add some flavored syrups or even a fruit puree for more flavor. I like lime syrup or peach puree.
- Make this recipe, as written, in a highball glass. This ensures you don’t consume too much caffeine, which can be dangerous.
