This unique layered shot is quite the spectacle – it looks like a bloody alien brain in a jar. Perfect for serving at Halloween parties!

If you want to impress your friends with a stunning layered shot, you should make the alien brain hemorrhage.
It has three distinct layers – red, blue, and textured light brown at the top that looks like a brain. The result is a sort of freaky, but impressive shot that resembles a bleeding alien brain in a jar.
Though it looks complex, it is actually really easy to execute – just follow the simple tips and tricks I’ve noted in the post below. Once you’ve got the hang of it, try the original brain hemorrhage shot or the zombie brain shot.
Ingredients

- Peach Schnapps – Triple sec can be substituted.
- Grenadine – Use Rose’s grenadine instead of a natural grenadine to achieve the bright red color.
- Blue curaçao – This orange flavored liqueur serves as the blue layer.
- Irish Cream – Use Bailey’s Irish cream to make the brain layer.
Tips
- To get the best “brain” texture, the Bailey’s needs to be drizzled in. I recommend using a spout pourer on the bottle.
- No pourers? No problem! Put the Bailey’s in a squirt bottle or use something like these mini beakers.
