Ingredients

Wings

  • 2 lbs Chicken Wings
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay
  • Peanut or Canola Oil*

Glaze

  • 1/4 cup Hot Honey
  • 1.5 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 tablespoon Hot Sauce, optional
  • 1/2 tablespoon Old Bay

Instructions

Wings

  • Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel, then season each side with the Old Bay.
  • Add 1-2 inches of oil to a large deep skillet, or fill a deep fryer to the minimum line. Heat the oil to 375F.
  • Once it has reached temp, fry the chicken wings for 8-10 minutes until they are light brown and crispy. Remove from the oil and set aside on a baking tray lined with a cooling rack.

Glaze

  • Add all of the glaze ingredients to a saucepan. Over medium-high heat, bring to a boil for 2 minutes, then remove from heat. (Be careful not to touch the glaze at this point - it is very hot coming off the stove and can burn!)
  • Quickly place wings in a large mixing bowl and toss with the glaze.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

*The amount of oil you need will depend on what you are frying the wings in. A large deep fryer may need a half gallon or more to meet the minimum requirement, while a large skillet may only need a cup or so.
