Before beginning, prepare your jello shot cups. I place them all on a baking sheet for easy moving to the fridge.
Pour the soda into a pot. Spinkle the gelatin over the top of the soda and allow to bloom for about 5 minutes.
Turn the heat on medium-high and stir until gelatin is dissolved. Do not allow the mixture to come to a boil.
Remove the mixture from heat and add the tequila. Stir to combine.
Distribute the mixture evenly among your jello cups. Seal with the lids and place in the refrigerator at least 2 hours to set.
