Red Wine Fruit Dip Recipe

This Red Wine Fruit Dip makes a great party appetizer. Just 4 ingredients needed and no cooking required.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Bottle of Red Wine
  • 1 Vanilla Bean (split)
  • 8 oz Mascarpone
  • 8 oz Cool Whip
  • Fruit (we used watermelon, strawberries, red grapes, and apples)

Instructions

  • Add the half bottle of red wine to a saucepan. If using, also add the split vanilla bean to the pot.
  • Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Allow to simmer until wine has been reduced to a syrup (should be around 1/4 cup of liquid).
  • Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature. Remove the vanilla bean.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add the mascarpone, cool whip, and red wine syrup. Use a hand mixer to blend until well combined.
  • Store in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator until serving time.
