As I mentioned in my Watermelon Cucumber Basil Cooler post, the other weekend was one of the hottest we’ve had this summer in LA. In that kind of situation, no one wants to slave over an oven to cook food and make it even hotter in the kitchen. I wanted something that wouldn’t take too long to make, wasn’t too heavy, and tasted fresh! Enter, the Bacon Ranch Turkey Wrap.
Wraps are always fun. You can put whatever you want in one, roll it up, and you’re on your way. For these wraps, I used flatbread that was pretty thick. If you’re not really into that, feel free to use a regular tortilla. The only thing you have to cook is the bacon because bacon is worth the sweat;-) And don’t skimp on the ranch, you need enough to cut through all the flavors of the meat and veggies!
