Bacon Ranch Mushroom Snowman Pizza Recipe

  • Crust: (enough for 2 medium snowman pizzas)
  • 1 ½ cups warm water
  • 2 ½ tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • Toppings: (enough for 2 medium snowman pizzas)
  • 23 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1215 black olives, sliced
  • 6 sliced mushrooms
  • 2 slices bacon
  • 2 triangle slices orange bell pepper
  • 35 TB ranch dressing


  1. In a the bowl of a stand mixer, combine the water, yeast, sugar, salt, and olive oil. Let sit for 10 min.
  2. With dough hook attached, add in flour and mix on low. Once mixed thoroughly, increase speed to high and knead the dough for 10 min., until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl and forms a ball on the hook.
  3. Place the dough in a bowl and coat in olive oil. Cover and place in a warm place to rise for about an hour. It should double in size.
  4. After the hour, punch the dough down and divide in half. If you aren’t making two pizzas, refrigerate one ball to use within a few days or freeze it for a month.
  5. Preheat to 500 degrees.
  6. Pat or roll out the dough on a well-floured surface into about into 3 rounds (6 if you are making two pizzas) of different sizes for the snowman’s body. Place on pizza stone.
  7. Top with ranch dressing. Spread on snowman’s body leaving room around the edges for crust. Top with shredded mozzarella. Place bacon for the scarf, olives for the eyes, mushrooms for the buttons, and the orange bell pepper for the nose and watch your snowman come to life!
  8. When oven is preheated, place pizza stone inside and cook for 10-15 minutes, until crust is a golden brown and cheese is melted.
  9. Turn on your movies, slice that snowman pizza, and enjoy the holidays!
