Buffalo Spiced Nuts Recipe

We had some friends over for the super bowl a few weeks ago and served an assortment of “game time” recipes. These Buffalo Spiced Nuts were a huge hit. They’re spicy, but not so spicy that your taste buds can’t relax a little and enjoy the flavor. Feel free to use whatever mix of nuts you’d like. You can even stick to one kind if you don’t like to mix your nuts. I got crazy with mine, but if I made it again I would probably make a pistachio only version.

Ingredients

2 cups mixed unsalted, raw nuts (I used peanuts, cashews, almonds, and pistachios)
2 tbsp melted butter
2 tbsp Frank’s Hot Sauce
2 tsp cayenne powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt

Directions

Preheat 0ven to 350F and line a baking sheet with a baking mat.

Mix all ingredients together in a medium bowl. Spread in a single layer on prepared baking sheet and bake 8 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Let cool on pan. After cool, store in air-tight containers or serve.

  • Sounds awesome, definitely going to try this one…. probably cashews for starters or cashew and pistachio mix, hmm ?

  • That sounds great, Wayne! I think I’m going to make up another batch of these soon, heavy on the pistachios. 😉
